Appalachian Trail test rt 7 to rt 50 – 14.7 miles!
•September 2, 2008 • 2 CommentsWe wanted a test of endurance and strength, so onto the “roller coaster” part of the Appalachian Trail. This section goes from Rt 7 to Rt 50 and equals 14.7 miles. If you drive the two points it equals 10.3 miles, the extra comes from going up and down. This trip equals the distance that we will travel hiking Half Dome in Yosemite. As for me (John) – it kicked my butt!
